This model is essentially just a bunch of concentric bird bases, but it sprouts upwards in a way that reminds me of any number of cruciferous vegetables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the time, I had no idea what to call this. Originally I referred to it as a Hydrangea Expansion to imply that&#8217;s a 3D version of Fujimoto&#8217;s Hydrangea, before landing on Artichoke. Now that I&#8217;ve seen artichokes in their fully glory from sprouts to gnarly post-flowering husks, I think it&#8217;s a decently fitting name.
